Mr Chetan met us with an idea for his home. One with vast space, a ground floor plus four additional floors, a few recreational spaces and an interesting elevation element and an overarching emphasis on Vastu.
While seemingly straightforward, it was complex to develop a design that harmonised all these elements. Firstly, we used a floating staircase as a statement design element. It wraps around every floor with beauty and functionality. We sectioned out each of the floors to include a gym, a home theatre, a living room with outdoor space and a terrace garden with a sit-out. To create a sense of grandeur, we used marble to carve out every common space. However, the most remarkable feature of this design is its elevation. The entire building stands on two inverted, elevating Cs – paying homage to Mr Chetan’s name.
We executed every element with a keen understanding of Vaastu. Today, their home has a free-flowing, relaxing design with an added element of luxe.
