The 3,000 sq. ft. corporate interiors project we completed for this law firm seamlessly combines functionality with modern design, reflecting the client’s priorities and the need for an efficient workspace. The entire space is designed in a contemporary style with clean lines, elegant finishes, and a neutral color palette dominated by shades of brown, black, grey, and white.

One of the key design challenges was working with low ceiling heights. To address this, we utilized gypsum ceilings throughout, with a special curved design near the beams to retain as much height as possible. The addition of cove lighting in these areas transforms the structural beams into subtle design features, creating an illusion of higher ceilings while adding warmth and depth to the space.

Given the nature of a law office, where storage is essential, we placed a strong emphasis on maximizing storage solutions. We incorporated movable metal file racks, a practical and space-efficient solution that allows for high-density file storage in a relatively compact area. This clever integration of storage ensured that the office maintains a clean and organized look without compromising on functionality.

The reception area was designed to offer a welcoming yet sophisticated environment. We used rich veneers, a brass logo to exude luxury, and classical wall moldings to introduce a timeless elegance. To add a touch of warmth and comfort, we selected deep bottle-green lounge chairs that contrast beautifully with the neutral tones of the space, creating a visually inviting area for clients and visitors.

The office layout includes four partner cabins, a 10-person meeting room, an 8-person meeting room, a smaller 4-person meeting room, and two retained partner cabins,33 capacity workspace along with a pantry area and washrooms. Each space has been carefully planned to provide a balance of privacy and collaboration, ensuring the office functions smoothly on a daily basis.

For the workstations, we chose clean white tables paired with black task chairs for a sleek, modern look. To inject some color into the workspace and enhance functionality, we added blue privacy panels that double as writable surfaces for employees. This not only provides a vibrant contrast but also introduces a practical tool for day-to-day tasks. Linear black lighting fixtures suspended above each desk add to the minimalist aesthetic, ensuring a well-lit, productive environment without cluttering the visual flow.

Throughout the project, all furniture was custom-designed to fit the specific needs and design vision of the space, ensuring a cohesive look and feel while supporting the daily operations of the law firm. Overall, this office interior strikes a balance between functionality, elegance, and contemporary design.
